Among the many beautiful Show and Tell items, the member got a real treat to see Doris Flynn's Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Young's 100 year old quilt.

August Business Meeting

In keeping with this year’s theme of “Quilting 101”, another basic was reviewed.

July 27

All members are welcome to come on workshop days.  If they are not taking the workshow they can work on Crusier Quilts or any project they want to.  It is a good chance to get to know the other members.  Evelyn Mayer, Bobbie Zobe and Doris Flynn came to work on Cruisers.

Because of unforseen events the only "student" in Geneva's workshop was Sue Reisner so Sue got a one on one class.  Geneva said she would also give any help the others wanted when they are ready. 

Pumpkin Table Runner

Creative Quilters enjoyed an unusual workshop making a circular table runner that turned out to be an interesting puzzle.  The pumpkin pieces, leaves and background were cut out and numbered in triplicate, then reassembled on a circle of black giving a “Cathedral Window” affect.
